Love & Prayers / NAC #78

Hey y'all. Happy Tuesday! I hope you're having a great week so far. I'm happy to say I've been in my new Craft Room, getting inky. :) It's been a rough few weeks, including a surgery and preparing to Finally close on the sale of my house. I know it seems like it's taken forever. If all goes as planned, it will be done tomorrow. *HappyDance*

Well, being that it's Tuesday, that means it's time for another challenge with the Nacho's. This week we have a color challenge. I really wish these color challenges came easier to me. I decided to break in a new stamp and embossing folder. Having just gone through surgery just over a week ago, it hit me that I didn't have many Get Well or Sympathy cards so it was definitely time to come up with a few. Here's what I came up with-

We have a beautiful color combination for you this week-

Here's a close up of my focal point-

I inked up my stamp with my Stampin Write Colors to get a multi-colored effect. I used a Sharpie Permanent Marker to color one of our Rhinestones for a little bling in the center. After I had my focal point completed and my embossed background done, it seemed like I was missing something. I wanted to add some ribbon but I none that I had on hand seemed right. (and I have a lot on hand!) It's hard to see in this close-up, but I took my Pear Pizzazz ink pad and drug it over my White Organza ribbon to get a color match. Perfect! It was just what I needed.

Here's a look at the inside-

Of course you know I wanted a little something pretty for the inside, but the stamp I used on the front is a single stamp. I looked through my sets and found this one, and even though it's not a perfect match, I think it coordinates nicely. What do you think?

Well, that's all I have for you today. I hope you liked it and I hope it inspires you to play along with us this week. Perhaps you'll find some sets to mix and match too. Hopefully, things are going to settle down now and I'll have a chance to show you some of the projects I've been working on. As always if you have questions about today's card, I hope you'll leave me a message in the space below. I'll be sure to get back to you.

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to stop by my little corner of the world. You are very appreciated! Till Next Time-

Hey y'all. Hope you're having a great week so far. Just a quick post today. I had surgery a few days ago and I over-did it today. For those of you that know me, that's not a big surprise. It's Tuesday and that means it's time for another challenge with the Nachos. This week it's a sketch challenge. We're expecting another 3 inches of snow on top of the 18 inches last week. YUCK!!! I am so ready for spring. So even though it's cold and yucky here, today's card is anything but. Here's my card-

It uses our New Sale-A-Bration DSP and our Crisp Cantaloupe c/s and ribbon. Many of you know what a hard time I have mixing and matching patterns and prints, but I think I did ok here. What do you think? Hard to tell but there's a little Dazzling Diamonds thrown in for good measure. ;)

Here's this week's sketch-

And because you know I like pretty insides, here's what I did with this one-

What will you do with this week's sketch? I can't wait to see!

Well, that's all I have for you today. I hope you liked it and I hope you play along with us this week. We love seeing your wonderful creations. As always if you have any questions or thoughts about todays card or any of my others, please leave me comment in the section below and I'll be sure to get back to you.
